Our team cleared the blockage using buckets and a large shop vacuum to control the backed-up water and minimize additional flooding.

The root intrusion appeared to be approximately 50 to 60 feet into the line. The shower and toilets continued to drain properly without backing up, indicating that the immediate issue was isolated to the kitchen drain line.
Although we successfully cleared the backup, additional investigation is needed. Our team will need to return to televise the line and locate the exact area where the roots are entering. Once we identify the problem area, we can determine the right sewer repair to address the root intrusion rather than just clearing the symptoms.
