24/7 Services recently completed a sewer project in Des Plaines, IL, installing a modified overhead sewer system designed to eliminate basement backup points and provide reliable drainage for the home’s basement plumbing fixtures.
Our team rerouted the basement fixture drains to a new ejector pit installed in the crawlspace. This involved supplying and installing the appropriate PVC piping and fittings to direct wastewater from the basement fixtures into the new ejector system.
As part of the installation, we supplied and installed a new 1/2-horsepower ejector pump. We installed a new 2-inch PVC discharge line for the pump and connected it to the home’s existing plumbing stack.
By modifying the sewer configuration and eliminating the existing points where backups could enter the basement, the new system provides a more effective way to manage wastewater from the lower-level fixtures and helps protect the basement from future sewer backup problems.
Homeowners throughout the area trust 24/7 Services for sewer repairs and upgrades because of our strong online reputation, customer reviews, and experience solving complex drainage and sewer problems.
