A homeowner recently contacted 24/7 Services for Sewer in Brookfield, IL after identifying a damaged section of the sanitary sewer line outside the home. The repair required excavation and replacement of the damaged piping to restore reliable sewer flow.
Our sewer team excavated approximately 8.5 feet to access the damaged section of the sanitary sewer. We removed up to 5 feet of damaged piping and replaced it with new PVC pipe using heavy-duty non-shear couplings for secure connections.
As part of the repair, we installed a new exterior cleanout to provide easier access to the sewer line for future maintenance and service. We properly bedded and packed the new PVC piping in gravel before completing the remaining work.
After installing the new sewer piping, our team rodded and televised the remaining sewer line to check for additional issues and verify its condition. Once the inspection was complete, we backfilled the excavation using the existing spoils.
24/7 Services has built an outstanding online reputation backed by customer reviews from homeowners throughout the Chicagoland area. From sewer inspections and rodding to excavation and sewer line replacement, our team can handle a wide range of sewer problems.
