24/7 Services recently completed a Sewer project in La Grange, IL for a homeowner experiencing problems with multiple sewer branch lines. Our team addressed the immediate concerns by cleaning, repairing, and lining a damaged section of the sewer system while also identifying another branch that may require future attention.
We began by milling and hydro jetting both 4-inch branch lines leading toward the home. This process cleaned the interior of the pipes and prepared the damaged sewer line for the next stage of the repair.
After preparing the lines, we installed approximately 28 feet of sewer liner in the branch serving the kitchen and full bathroom. Sewer lining provides a new, durable interior within the existing pipe and can repair damaged sections without excavating and replacing the entire sewer line.
After installing the liner, our sewer specialists reinstated the kitchen connection and reconnected the sewer system. We then properly backfilled the work area to complete this portion of the repair.
During the project, we also evaluated the branch serving the home’s half bathroom. This section remains in rough condition and may eventually require approximately 30 feet of additional sewer liner. We advised the homeowner that completing this future repair would require reopening the existing repair area to access the branch.
