A reliable water heater is essential for everyday comfort, providing hot water for showers, laundry, dishes, and other household needs. During a recent Plumbing project in Des Plaines, IL, 24/7 Services’ experienced technicians replaced an aging, leaking water heater with a new 50-gallon unit to restore dependable hot water for the homeowner.
The homeowner’s existing water heater had developed leaks and showed signs of corrosion, so we replaced it.
Our plumbing technicians carefully disconnected the old water heater from the home’s water, gas, and exhaust connections. Once disconnected, we removed the deteriorating unit and properly disposed of it to make room for the new installation.
Replacing a leaking or corroded water heater helps prevent water damage and provides a more reliable hot water supply.
Our team supplied and installed a new 50-gallon water heater and connected it to the home’s existing water supply, gas line, and exhaust piping.
We installed the new unit using the existing plumbing connections, giving the homeowner an updated water-heating system without extensive changes to the home’s plumbing infrastructure.
A properly installed water heater delivers consistent hot water while supporting safe, efficient operation.
After completing the installation, our technicians filled the new water heater tank and carefully checked the connections for leaks.
Once the plumbing connections were tested, we connected the unit to its electrical power source and adjusted the temperature setting.
These final steps helped ensure the new water heater was properly configured and ready to provide reliable hot water throughout the home.
